VALUE OF LIFE: AN INSPIRATIONAL STORY

Here is a wonderful story that explains you how value of life changes at different places. This will help you to understand how valuable and priceless you actually are?

A man went to God and asked ," what is the value of life" ? God gave him one stone and said," Find out the value of this stone, but don't sell it." The man took the stone to an orange seller and asked him what its cost would be. The orange seller saw the shiny stone and said, " You can take 12 oranges and give me the stone." The man apologized and said that the God has asked him not to sell it.

The man went ahead and found a vegetable seller. "What could be the value of this stone?" he asked the vegetable seller. The seller saw the shiny stone and said," Take one sack of potatoes and give me the stone." The man again apologized and said he can't sell it.

Further ahead he went into a jewellery shop and asked the value of stone. The jeweller saw the stone under a lens and said, " i'll give you 50 lakh for this stone." When the man shook his head, the jeweller said, alright alright take 2 crores, but give me the stone." The man explained that he can't sell the stone.

Further ahead the man saw a precious stone's shop and asked the seller the value of this stone. When the precious stone's seller saw the big ruby, he lay down  a red cloth and put the ruby on it. Then he walked in circles around the ruby and bent down and touched his head in front of the ruby. " From where did you bring this priceless ruby"? He asked. " Even if  I sell the whole world and my life, I won't be able to purchase this priceless stone."

Stunned and confused, the man returned to the God and told him what had happened. " Now tell me What is the value of life, God"? God said ," the answers you got from the Orange seller, Vegetable seller, the Jeweller and the precious stone's seller". They all have explained you the value of life. you may be a precious stone even priceless but people may value you based on their lavel of information, their belief in you, their motive behind entertaining you, their ambition. But don't fear you will surely find someone who will discern your true value."

In the eyes of God You are very very precious. Respect yourself. You are unique. Noone can replace you.

            Respect yourself.... Don't undermine yourself.

You are Unique...... Noone can replace you.

Moral of the story:  We need to be placed ourself in the correct place to get maximum value out of our life.

STORY TIME

An inspirational story of Potato, egg and coffee beans

" Every day we live on this earth we make choices.

   Things happen we make decisions

That shapes our life but have we ever thought

That how we react to things that happen to us."

Here I am going to share an inspirational story with all of you that will teach you how we should respond to different situations in our life.

Once upon a time a daughter complained to her father that her life was miserable and that she didn't know how she was going to make it. She was tired of fighting and struggling all the time. It seemed as just one problem was solved and another one soon followed.

Her father a Chef took her to the kitchen. He filled three pots with  waterand placed each on a high fire. Once the three pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot, egg in second pot and coffee beans in the third pot..

He then let them sit and boil, without saying a word to his daughter. The daughter moaned, and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing.

After 20 minutes he turned off the burners. He took off the potatoes out of the and placed them in a bowl. and then he took out the eggs and also placed them in another bowl. He then ladled the coffee out and placed it in a cup. Turning to her daughter he asked daughter "what do you see?"

" Potatoes, Eggs and Coffee" She hastily replied.

" Look closer and touch the potatoes" He said. She did and noticed that they were soft. He then asked her to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell she observed the hard boiled egg. Finally he asked her to sip the coffee. Its rich aroma brought a smile on her face. The she asked her father," what does these mean."

He then explained that the potatoes, eggs and coffee each faced the same adversity- The boiling water. however each one reacted differently.

POTATOES

Potatoes were strong, Hard and unrelenting but in boiling water it became soft and week.

EGGS

Eggs were fragile, with the thinner outer shell protecting its liquid interior. and after boiling its inside became hard.

COFFEE BEANS

However the ground coffee beans were unique after they were exposed to the boiling water, They changed the water and created something new.

" Which are you" when adversity knocks at your door how will you respond " are you a potato, an egg or a coffee bean?"

Moral of the story:

In life, things happen around us, but the only thing that truly matters what happens within us.

Thank You.
